Vendelux helps companies discover the best events. Event marketers are the unsung heroes of successful companies. From generating leads to building world-class brands, event marketers make magic happen throughout the year. Vendelux is here to help maximize the impact of all the events that a company sponsors and attends.

We are a Series A SaaS company and provide the system of record for event marketing. Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer’s dream.

Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, Compass, ModernLoop, Forter, Zulilly, NewtonX.

We’re looking for a hands-on Product Designer to shape how users engage with AI throughout the Vendelux platform. This role sits at the intersection of interaction design, product strategy, and emerging AI workflows. You’ll influence everything from crisp, data-rich dashboards to experimental interfaces for guiding AI agents, along with new initiatives such as our upcoming mobile app.

As the design leader within a fast-moving startup, you’ll drive end-to-end product experience, from early concept sketches to production-ready assets. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, company leadership, and our customer-facing teams to bring clarity, usability, and polish to every user journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of core product experiences, taking features from initial ideation through final implementation.

  • Create functional prototypes using Figma, v0, and similar tools to help communicate concepts and gather feedback quickly.

  • Work side-by-side with engineers, PMs, founders, customer success, and sales to ensure designs are grounded in real customer needs.

  • Translate unpredictable or complex AI behaviors into approachable, transparent interactions users can rely on.

  • Contribute to and extend our component library; collaborate with engineering to evolve a cohesive design system over time.

  • Advocate for thoughtful, user-centered solutions and bring a point of view on what we build, while staying flexible as new information emerges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field; relevant experience can often substitute for a degree.

  • Relevant work experience as a product designer or in a similar role (e.g., UX/UI designer) at a B2B VC backed SaaS Startup, minimum 4+ years of experience.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating the design thinking process from research to final product.

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other relevant software.

  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing to inform design decisions and gather feedback.

  • Understanding of design principles, including user-centered design, accessibility standards, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Not all candidates will check all of the requirements listed above and that’s ok! We are open to great people from non-traditional backgrounds.

Vendelux is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, parental or pregnancy status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status.
